Being and Building Disciples

Service times, directions, and what to expect upon your first visit to Church on the Hill.

Church on the Hill knows that what really matters is Jesus the Messiah and the life more abundant that He offers. For far too long, we have seen the thief steal, kill, and destroy. We know that we all need a safe place to belong and Church on the Hill has invested the last three years putting our house in order. Now we long to transform this place from a house of God to a home for Christ by being and building disciples.

When you feel at home, you become free to be yourself. You relax, you get comfortable, and you want to stay and talk about what really matters. What matters is loving Jesus with all of us: spirit, soul, and body. This is being a disciple. Everyone in the Church on the Hill community spends time in solitude with God each day. This is when He feeds, guides, directs, and changes us into the image of Christ.

In addition to being a disciple, we are actively building disciples that build disciples. We meet in small bands of brothers or bands of sisters where we encourage each other to obedience and share more of the ways of being a disciple. Each band of brothers/sisters seeks to add one or two new disciples into our community and together follow the path of the disciple which leads to Christlikeness.

Church on the Hill regularly offers life classes that are available to all who are seeking Christ. Like any family following Jesus, we love to gather to share a meal, pray, encourage, and worship our King. We celebrate new family members with baptism and remember the work of Christ on the cross as we share the Lord’s Supper. One of our highest joys is to create new churches that are being and building disciples.
